Yellow Veil Pictures Boards Sleep Clinic Horror Film ‘Somnium’ for North America, Launching International Sales at Cannes (EXCLUSIVE)

'Somnium,' from director Racheal Cain, will get a North American theatrical release from Yellow Veil, also launching international sales at Cannes.

“We’re thrilled to be partnering with Yellow Veil, whose distinct curatorial eye and art-forward approach to distribution aligns perfectly with the spirit of ‘Somnium,’ writer-director Racheal Cain said in a statement alongside the deal’s announcement. “With each viewing of ‘Somnium’ we discover a new theme, that’s only topped by the performances of her cast — and the visual risk she takes to build this world,” added a Yellow Veil Pictures rep. “Very excited to bring Racheal’s vision to the audience, and work with her on such an accomplished debut.” Developed over more than a decade and shot in Los Angeles, the film follows a new California transplant landing auditions to make it big — and paying the bills with a graveyard shift at a sleep clinic where dreams come to life.
