Tom Holland sports a bruise after 'being hit on the head with a golf ball' while playing a round at St Andrews

A number of witnesses claim the star was unaware the stray ball was hurtling towards him before it dunted him on the forehead.

The 27-year-old, who plays Peter Parker in the Marvel movies, appeared at the opening gala of a film festival at the Byre Theatre, St Andrews, that evening and sported a round, red graze on his head. Making a rare appearance with his lookalike younger brother Harry, the actor, 27, beamed in snaps as he cut a casual figure in a beige open neck polo top and matching chinos. Tom, who has poked fun at his height in the past, looked to be slightly smaller than his younger brother, as they showcased their uncanny resemblance with the same mop of brown hair.
