Tom Cruise in talks to collaborate with Oscar-winning director Alejandro G. Iñárritu for Warner Bros. under his new deal with studio
The A-list actor, 61, who has also been linked to an Edge of Tomorrow sequel in the wake of the deal , was 'one of the first' actors to speak with Iñárritu, 60.
Tom Cruise, 61, is in talks with Warner Bros. to work on a film with Academy Award-winning filmmaker Alejandro G. Iñárritu under the umbrella of a new deal he hammered out with the studio last month. Discovery CEO David Zaslav and WB studio chiefs Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy in January, in terms of original projects with international box office upside. He has been nominated for Oscars four times in his career: for his work as an actor in Magnolia, Born on the Fourth of July and 1996's Jerry Maguire; and as a producer for 2022's Top Gun: Maverick.
