Dave Grohl spent his Super Bowl Sunday -- er, Super Grohl Sunday -- helping to barbeque 70 pork butts for the local community in LA with Hope the Mission.
The Foo Fighters still haven’t performed at a Super Bowl Halftime show — but that’s OK, because Dave Grohl finds a way to stay plenty busy on the unofficial American holiday. Dave and his pals BBQ’d 70 pork butts for 24+ hours 😳 Right now we are here at The Woodlands Family Shelter sharing this delicious meal with our participants. Grohl’s adventures in BBQing have popped up every now and then, from cooking backstage at Foo Fighters concerts to various other charitable appearances in the Los Angeles area.
