Stephen Colbert has announced he will bring 'The Late Show to Chicago in August for the Democratic National Convention.

Stephen Colbert announced the late-night talk show will broadcast live from the Auditorium Theatre during this year’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago, which takes place Aug. 19-22. The host announced the news on Wednesday night’s edition of the show, confirming that a week of episodes would be filmed live in Chicago during the convention. The Republican National Convention is set for Milwaukee in July, however The Late Show will continue to broadcast from New York City during the event.
