Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland beam with golden trophy as they reach No 1 in Official UK Album Chart with their hit new record Swing Fever

Sir Rod Stewart and Jools Holland have topped the Official UK Album Charts for the first time with their new album Swing Fever.

And it's paid off after bagging the top spot ahead of The Snuts, Noah Kahan and Red Rum Club. The singer and Jools both appeared on the show to promote Swing Fever and took to the stage to perform their cover of Billie Holiday's 1936 song Pennies from Heaven. Rod then started singing and clapping as he gave an impromptu performance of Lullaby On Broadway with the studio audience, Jools, Jimmy, and house band The Roots joining him.
