Sarah Snook Thanks Her Baby Daughter for ‘Succession’ Emmy Win: ‘It’s Very Easy to Act When You’re Pregnant Because You’ve Got Hormones Raging’

Sarah Snook won her first Emmy for "Succession" on Monday evening, taking home the trophy for lead actress in a drama series.

This year, Snook won a category in which she faced off with Sharon Horgan (“Bad Sisters”), Melanie Lynskey (“Yellowjackets”), Elisabeth Moss (“The Handmaid’s Tale”), Bella Ramsey (“The Last of Us”) and Keri Russell (“The Diplomat”). The ceremony, taking place on Jan. 15 — Martin Luther King Jr. Day — was originally scheduled for Sept. 18 until the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes led to the postponement. This year’s nominations were announced on July 12, less than 48 hours before the SAG-AFTRA strike began, effectively halting all production and promotion in the entertainment industry.
