In the smash-hit HBO series, Macfadyen is Tom Wambsgans, an executive at Waystar—the Roy family’s global media conglomerate. He is also nominated for a SAG award in the Male Actor in a Drama Series category. Succession leads the Emmy nominations list with a total of 27, followed by The Last of Us with 24 and Ted Lasso with 21.
