Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman Are Now in the Professional Sailing Business
Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman bought the BONDS Flying Roos, a SailGP team.
The SailGP Championship, established in 2019 by Sir Russell Coutts and Larry Ellison, features 12 six-man national teams competing in 50-foot catamarans worldwide. The BONDS Flying Roos SailGP team will have their first competition with their new identity (and new owners) at the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix on June 7-8. Elsewhere, it was recently announced that the Reynolds-produced John Candy: I Like Me documentary, directed by Colin Hanks, will open the 50th edition of the Toronto International Film Festival in September.
