Robert Irwin says he's 'continuing the legacy' started by his dad Steve as the new host of I'm A Celebrity

Robert Irwin has revealed why he accepted the offer to host the new season of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Australia.

'I love that I have a real purpose and a legacy that I get to continue from my family, and my dad particularly, and I get to create my own - of wildlife conservation, of fun, of passion and positivity,' he said. He said he is a 'huge fan of the show' and it is a 'privilege and a real honour' to co-host the series alongside Julia Morris. Robert went on to reveal that Australia Zoo 'does a lot of conservation work in Africa' and thought that the new season was an opportunity to 'celebrate' the wildlife.
