Ceasefire pins among Oscar guests and nominees were numerous on this afternoon’s red carpet with Poor Things actor Ramy Youssef and Barbie “What Was I Made For?” songwriting team Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell donning them. Last October, 55 prominent artists signed a letter asking Biden to demand a ceasefire in Gaza and Israel. Also wearing Artists for Ceasefire pins today on the Oscars red carpet were Nimona actor Eugene Lee Yang, director Misan Harriman, behind best live action short nominee The After, and filmmaker Kaouther Ben Hania, of best documentary feature nominee Four Daughters.
