Peter Kay breaks silence after kicking out hecklers from gig and Lisa Riley 'jibe'

Comedian Peter Kay has spoken out after having three hecklers removed from his Better Late Than Never... Again! Manchester gig, when he compared one person to Emmerdale's Lisa Riley

ITV reported that the rest of his statement from Peter read: "There comes a point when dealing with repeated hecklers simply isn't enough. However, Lisa Riley has spoken out on the situation and reassured fans she was "never offended" by the joke and "loves Peter Kay". Then in the second half of the show I said it again, 'garlic bread', and that’s when the security guards came over to me and said 'you are going to have to leave - Peter Kay doesn’t like people shouting out'."
