Marking the cartoon protagonist’s first-ever cover song, Peppa will drop an adorable rendition of Katy Perry ‘s “Roar” on Thursday evening (April 11) — because, as she puts it at the beginning of the song’s new lyric video shared exclusively with Billboard, “Even the littlest pig can have the loudest roar.” “I got the eye of the tiger, a fighter, dancing through the fire/ ‘Cause I am a champion, and you’re gonna hear me roar,” she sings, adding at the end, “A little confidence goes a long way.” Although “Roar” marks the first cover song Peppa has released, the animated star has previously shared music of her own.
