Paul Rudd reveals what it is really like to play one of his childhood heroes after being cast in Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire as he says 'it's a silly way to make a living'

The Clueless actor, 54, stars as Mr Gary Grooberson in 2024's Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, which was released to cinemas on March, 22.

'It was a weird thing to think, ''Wait a minute, I'm going to be in a Ghostbusters movie'', and this one to kind of actually out on that suit and the proton pack and stand alongside them makes no sense whatsoever.' Patton Oswalt (Dr. Hubert Wartzki), who featured in Jason's scathing movie Young Adult starring Charlize Theron, is also in the new picture, as is his fellow comedian Kumail Nanjiani (Nadeem Razmaadi). In a flourish of fan service, Bill Murray (Dr. Peter Venkman), Dan Aykroyd (Dr. Raymond 'Ray' Stantz), Ernie Hudson (Dr. Winston Zeddemore), Annie Potts (Janine Melnitz) and William Atherton (Mayor Walter Peck) all reprise their roles from the original Ghostbusters.
