It's been a week to remember for Peppa Pig and her family following the birth of baby Evie on Tuesday.
An exclusive in Grazia Magazine followed, with Mummy Pig flaunting her baby bump in a glossy spread and delighting fans with her pregnancy tell-all, with highlights including her peanut butter and pickle sandwich craving. The party also heralded the launch of the world's first-ever permanent Peppa Pig store, with fans able to snap up a selection of the 12,000 separate branded items the cartoon has merchandised over 20 years. All the fanfare has led up to this week's birth, which played on another cultural phenomenon as Mummy and Daddy Pig welcomed baby Evie in Kate Middleton's favoured maternity hospital - London's Lindo Wing.
