Matt and Emma Willis 'stronger than ever' after battling 'lonely' years of addiction

Matt, 41, who shares three children with Emma, 48, has been through rehab four times in the last two decades, and most recently relapsed in 2016 when his band, Busted, went on tour. Opening up about the impact his addiction has had on Emma and their family, the bassist said that welcoming their first child, Isabelle, now 14, was a turning point. Matt recently shared how therapy helped his relationship with Emma (Image: REX/Shutterstock)“As we’ve gotten older and more mature and settled, we have realised that as long as we communicate, we can avoid sitting on resentments or creating the kind of environment that leads to getting divorced,” said Emma earlier this month.
