MasterChef star Matt Preston reveals his surprising number one food destination in the world

Matt Preston has revealed his favourite food destination in the world.

'Grilling fish over coals is a passion here and these casual pop-ups with their plastic tables, chairs and paper napkins do solely that – and they do it impeccably whether it’s local turbot, tuna or calamari.' 'The whole fish arrives at the table dressed with little more than some crushed garlic and oil, and is served with boiled potatoes and the simplest of tomato salads with dried oregano' he said of the delicious dishes on offer. It comes after news that the food critic has decided to hang up his headphones at ABC Melbourne in order to spend more time with his family while pursuing projects outside of radio.
