Liam Gallagher angrily responds to Oasis' Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nomination: 'I don't need some w**k award'


Oasis, who split in 2009 following a bitter feud between brothers Liam and Noel, were nominated alongside Cher , Mariah Carey , Ozzy Osbourne and several other talented musicians.

Another fan asked if any Oasis band members would attend the ceremony, and Liam took the opportunity to make a subtle dig at brother Noel: 'The little fella loves hanging out with celebrities so he'd prob go.' On Saturday, the Cleveland-based institution announced that Mariah Carey, Cher, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Lenny Kravitz, Sinéad O'Connor, Oasis, Ozzy Osbourne – who is lashing out at Kanye West for unauthorized use of the Black Sabbath song Iron Man – Sade, and Foreigner all made the cut for the first time.
