Korea’s ‘Couple Palace’ Greenlighted for Second Season – Global Bulletin

Korea’s ‘Couple Palace’ and Apple TV+s 'Drops of God' are greenlighted for second seasons, as Annie Shapero joins Jacob Elordi in 'The Narrow Road.'

“The sequel commission of ‘Couple Palace’ clearly demonstrates the fact that the show’s candid, yet profound portrayal of relationship dynamics associated with marriage has resonated with audiences from different circumstances and environments. Directed by Justin Kurzel, “Narrow Road,” which stars Jacob Elordi, Ciaran Hinds and Odessa Young, is an adaptation of the Booker Prize-winning novel by Richard Flanaghan, which chronicles a century dominated by war, with the forced labor on the Thai-Burma Railway as its dramatic heart. In season two of “Drops of God,” Camille (portrayed by Fleur Geffrier) and Issei ( Yamashita Tomohisa) once again face a nearly impossible challenge: to uncover the origin of the world’s most wonderful wine.
