The actors famously starred in The Holiday together where Rufus' character Jasper, left Kate's character Iris, who was in love with him, heartbroken.
Kate Winslet, 48, gushed over Rufus Sewell, 57, as she recalled the pair's forgotten real-life romance during an interview on The Chris Evans Breakfast show on Monday Rufus' latest project sees him star as Prince Andrew, 64, in Scoop which gives a behind-the-scenes account of his 2019 car crash Newsnight interview. Gillian plays journalist Emily Maitlis in the adaptation, while the film also stars Billie Piper as BBC producer Sam McAlister and Keeley Hawes as Andrew's assistant Amanda Thirsk.
