The Regime episode 1 cast: Who stars in Kate Winslet's new series?

Sky Atlantic's latest drama The Regime stars Kate Winslet as a paranoid dictator ruling a fictional European country - however, she's not the only A-lister in the cast

The actor, 46, made his acting debut in Oscar-nominated Belgian film Daens, but shot to international fame in 2012's Rust and Bone, 2014's The Drop and 2015's Far from the Madding Crowd, in which he played Gabriel Oak opposite Carey Mulligan's Bathsheba. Martha recently voiced Yelena in Frozen II and took on roles in 2021's Mass, Sky's A Town Called Malice, The Blacklist and upcoming thriller Prime Target, which stars One Day's Leo Woodall. Hugh, 63, previously starred in Sense and Sensibility alongside Kate Winslet but is best known for his roles in romcoms Notting Hill, Love Actually, Bridget Jones's Diary, Four Weddings and a Funeral and Two Weeks Notice.
