Justin Baldoni’s countersuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds as well as his suit against The New York Times was dismissed by a judge on Monday.

Justin Baldoni ’s countersuit against Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist Leslie Sloane, as well as his suit against The New York Times, has been dismissed, a judge decided on Monday. Judge Lewis J. Liman granted the motion to dismiss the It Ends With Us director-actor and Wayfarer Studios’ $400 million suit against Lively and Reynolds, who have alleged extortion and defamation against Baldoni and the production company. Liman left open the possibility for Baldoni and his team to amend claims for breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract should they decide to move forward with them.
