Julia Roberts reveals the sweet gift she gave to Richard Curtis the morning of Notting Hill's film premiere in 1999


Screenwriter Richard Curtis, 67, reflected on his long-running friendship when he had the pleasure of interviewing the American actress, 56, for her British Vogue cover debut.

And returning back to the morning of Notting Hill's movie premiere nearly three decades ago, Richard disclosed that Julia gifted his daughter Scarlett, 28, a knitted blanket. The radiant redhead went on to credit her husband with keeping her looking youthful as when asked for the key to her looks, she mused: 'Good genes, leading a life that is fulfilling, and I have said this – and I say it usually as kind of a joke – but I do believe in the love of a good man. When she wasn't learning her lines or running scenes, Julia kept busy on set by knitting a blanket, which she eventually gave to Richard at the premiere as a gift for his daughter Scarlett.
