Jaime Eliezer Karas Tapped To Direct Coming-of-Age Skateboarding Drama ‘Suburban Kings’ From Writer Peter Hoare; Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge Among Producers


Jamie Eliezer Karas, Peter Hoare and Tom DeLonge are teaming to develop 'Suburban Kings,' a new coming-of-age skateboarding drama.

Hoare is known for writing the Tribeca dramedy Standing Up, Falling Down, starring Billy Crystal and Ben Schwartz, Karas’ The Main Event and thd comedy Killing Hasselhoff, as well as for his work on CBS’s Kevin Can Wait. Other upcoming projects include Student Driver at Netflix and Family Jewels, a holiday comedy starring Goldie Hawn, Diane Keaton, and Bette Midler, for New Republic Pictures. Credits for DeLonge, frontman of rock band blink-182 and founder of the CAA-repped To The Stars, include Monsters of California, Poet Anderson: The Dream Walker, and the hit docuseries Unidentified.
