Great Celebrity Bake Off 2024: Sara Cox wins Star Baker after impressing with her unique cake in the shape of fellow Radio 2 host and receiving a coveted Hollywood handshake
The Radio 2 host, 49, impressed judges Dame Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood after acing every challenge and receiving the second Hollywood handshake of the series.
Sara and fellow contestants Adam Hills, Reverent Richard Coles and Joe Locke were tasked with biscuits in the Signature category, custard slices in the Technical bake and finally a Showstopper where they created cakes depicting their famous best friends. The DJ baked a toffee cake in the shape of colleague Jeremy Vine riding a penny farthing - to honour his love of bikes - with the judges branding it 'absolutely delicious'. Sara Cox was awarded the Star Baker apron on The Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up to Cancer on Channel 4 on Sunday
