Gogglebox's George Gilbey's life off-screen including beloved daughter after tragic death
George Gilbey was best known for taking part in the iconic Channel 4 reality show Gogglebox and died at just 40 after a workplace accident
Channel 4 also released a statement following the incident which read: "George was part of the Gogglebox family for eight series alongside his mum Linda and step-dad Pete. George is best known for his stints in the hit reality show Gogglebox, in which he originally appeared alongside his mother Linda and late stepfather, Pete McGarry, who died in 2021 from bowel cancer, aged 71. Just days before his death, George posted a sweet tribute to his daughter on Instagram, sharing a black and white shot of the youngster holding a bouquet of flowers, alongside a string of heart emojis.
