Erotic Queer Thriller ‘Night Stage,’ Playing in Berlinale’s Panorama Section, Sells to North America, U.K. and Ireland (EXCLUSIVE)

Erotic queer thriller “Night Stage,” which premiered on Friday in Berlinale's Panorama section, has been sold to North America, the U.K. and Ireland.

“Night Stage,” which is directed by past Berlinale Teddy Award winners Filipe Matzembacher and Marcio Reolon, follows an ambitious actor and a successful politician who start a secret affair, and together discover their fetish for having sex in public places. ‘Night Stage’ is soaked in style and scored to perfection, reminiscent of the 1980s erotic thrillers we all know and love,” Mike Repsch, president of Dark Star Pictures, told Variety. “Night Stage” is produced by Jessica Luz and Paola Wink from Brazil’s Vulcana Cinema, and Matzembacher and Reolon’s production company Avante Filmes.
