Eminem Will Open the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards

Eminem will open the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards with a performance of songs from his latest album, 'The Death of Slim Shady.'

But arguably, Eminem’s most famous VMA moment came in 2000 when he performed “Real Slim Shady” and “The Way I Am,” accompanied by an army of over 100 lookalikes. The 2024 VMAs feature a stacked performancelineup that also includes Sabrina Carpenter, Chappel Roan, Halsey, Karol G, LL Cool J, Shawn Mendes, Lisa, Rauw Alejandro, GloRilla, Anitta, and Benson Boone. Katy Perry will perform upon receiving the Video Vanguard award, as will Megan Thee Stallion, who’s also hosting the show.
