EastEnders legend Sonia's baby name 'revealed' - and it has a cute link to Walford icon

EastEnders fans are convinced they have worked out that Sonia Fowler will name her baby after a Walford icon, with the popular character set to give birth in the coming months

Initially, Sonia was horrified by the fact Reiss had failed to tell her, and was understandably hesitant about dating a technically married man, but she soon warmed up to the idea. In a further blow, during treatment Sonia was warned that her womb lining was thinner than ideal and there was a lower risk of success. Joining the soap as the unforgettable, cigarette-loving Dot back in 1985, she became one of the show's most enduring characters until her departure in 2020.
