Death in Paradise star Kris Marshall, has spoken out about his ITV period drama, Sandition, being cancelled after just one series, only to be recommissioned for two more series
Fans of Sanditon in the United States had a big role to play in bringing the show back on screen, organising an impressive campaign to ensure its return, reports the Mirror. Thankfully, Kris was given two more opportunities to play Tom Parker, an entrepreneur with grand plans to turn Sanditon into a posh seaside destination. Kris continues his role as DI Humphrey Goodman, as the show follows his love story with Martha Lloyd (played by Sally Bretton) as they plan to expand their family.
