Claudia Winkleman gave Romesh Ranganathan her blessing as he took over her BBC Radio 2 show on Saturday.

Comedian Romesh, 46, took on the Saturday morning slot from Strictly Come Dancing and Traitors presenter Claudia (pictured), who left the station last month Romesh was presented with a giraffe costume his first celebrity guest Rob Beckett (left) to wear during Sunday's London Marathon on his new BBC Radio 2 show The pair star in Sky comedy series Rob & Romesh Vs and last year hosted the Bafta TV awards ceremony together.
