Chris Stapleton, Tyler Childers to headline music festival that's moving to Kentucky
Two Kentucky stars are coming together once again to help their community through music. Fun fact: This festival will take place on a mountaintop.
The festival was started as part of an effort to combat the opioid crisis and to support recovery across the Appalachian region.Organizers say the two songwriters fit the mission. "Not only have they both urgently and boldly shared their journeys and songs of home with the world, but both are first in line to roll up their sleeves and help folks in need. Chris Stapleton and Tyler Childers will perform at Healing Appalachia, which is moving to Eastern Kentucky for the first time this year.
