TV's cherished duo Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard have stepped into the shoes of former This Morning favourites Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, with the pair confirming they've received heartfelt messages from their predecessors. Phillip Schofield, a household name, departed from the show in a wave of controversy last year after admitting to an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger colleague. Cat was equally touched by the gesture, saying: "It was the most beautiful surprise to get a gorgeous bunch of flowers and a handwritten note in my dressing room from Holly.
