Arby's Potato Cakes Are Back — and Kyle MacLachlan Is Their Leader: ‘A Big Responsibility’

Actor Kyle MacLachlan is partnering with Arby's to celebrate the return of the Potato Cake, now available for a limited time. “Let's just say the potato in general is very, very important to me, being a lover of carbohydrates,” MacLachlan tells PEOPLE.

Kyle MacLachlan, the face of cult classics like David Lynch's 1986 film Blue Velvet and the '90s mystery series Twin Peaks, is taking on a new role: the Leader of Arby’s Potato Cakes. On July 1, the sandwich chain announced that their fan-favorite side, the Potato Cake, is returning to menus nationwide for a limited time. “That, to me, is kind of the match.” MacLachlan is open to new combinations too, like adding a Potato Cake to an Arby’s Beef ‘N Cheddar sandwich, along with the chain’s Horsey Sauce.
