The acquisition is the result of a partnership with XYZ, first announced in Cannes, under which they co-acquire rights to foreign-language films to convert them to English for distribution in English-speaking territories using Flawless’ TrueSync technology. “As Flawless further expands its output, we look forward to continuing to work with industry-leading creatives like Tom, revitalizing the global film industry by responsibly implementing game-changing technology.” Other films co-acquired for North America by Flawless and XYZ under their partnership include Victor Danell’s Watch The Skie s, Stéphan Castang’s Vincent Must Die, Guy Nattiv and Zar Amir Ibrahim’s Tatami and Smugglers by Ryoo Seung-wan.
