‘Made In Korea’: BBC Greenlights Reality Series Following British Boy Band In Land Of K-pop


'Made In Korea': A BBC Reality Series is exploring K-Pop and being sold by ITV Studios.

The BBC has greenlit a reality series following a fledgling British boy band as it departs for Korea to attend the ultimate K-Pop boot camp. Made in Korea [working title] is the debut commission for BAFTA-winning producer Nigel Hall ( Britain’s Got Talent, The X Factor, One Direction), talent manager Russ Lindsay (former manager of Ant & Dec and Simon Cowell) and broadcast executive Dawn Airey’s Moon & Back Media, coming from the indie’s partnership with SM Entertainment. SM Entertainment has launched K-pop groups including NCT, Aespa, SuperM, Red Velvet, and Riize.
