While the Dyson Air Wrap and Shark's FlexStyle offer advanced styling options, in my opinion, nothing beats the simplicity and affordability of ghd. The plates glide effortlessly through the hair allowing you to create tight curls or zigzag beachy summer waves as well as a sleek pin-straight look. My one gripe with my straighteners is how often I have to clean them, as they get older the ceramic plates do stick and hold residue from hairspray, serum and heat protectant very easily now (they didn't when sparkling new).
