Zoe Ball issues huge career update after mum's heartbreaking death


BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball has announced she is returning to her Breakfast Show following the death of her beloved mum Julia, who tragically passed away from pancreatic cancer

But on Monday, August 5, Zoe was back and paying a heartfelt homage to her late mum before cheekily welcoming everyone on her story with a video stroll through the BBC corridors before her shift, writing an excited "Mornin friends fiends and GREG. Earlier in the year, Zoe bravely shared her family's heartbreak when her mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, a battle that sadly ended when Julia Peckham passed away on April 24, 2024. In Zoe's own touching words on social media: "Sleep tight dear Mama", celebrating her teachings of love, courage, and the power of laughter, despite it being the hardest of times, reports the Mirror.
