Zig Zag has announced two new long-form commissions as part of its rebranded slate: the TNT Sports documentary “Playing for Our Future” and the return of “The Football Academy,” this time set in the Tottenham Hotspur youth system, for the BBC. Funded by energy supplier Utilita and produced with Infinitum Entertainment and AMS Media Group, the documentary will include additional content across digital and social platforms, covering football, rugby, cricket, cycling, and motorsport. According to Matt Graff, managing director of Zig Zag: “’Playing for Our Future’ is premium factual content designed to engage across all platforms, uniting brands, broadcasters, and audiences to tackle sustainability in sport with an inclusive approach.
