Zayn Malik Reacts to the Death of One Direction Bandmate Liam Payne

Zayn Malik has responded to the death of his One Direction bandmate Liam Payne, who fell to his death in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday

Payne, Malik and bandmates Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson made up One Direction, who were pieced together on UK’s The X Factor in 2010 and went on to become one of the most successful boy bands of all-time. In May 2022, Payne made a controversial appearance on Logan Paul ’s “Impaulsive” podcast where he noted his dislike for Malik, and even revealed the two once got into a physical altercation.
