Zayn Malik cancels Mexico City concert due to 'serious' illness
Zayn Malik canceled his show in Mexico City on Friday night after he contracted a serious case of food poisoning. He shared a note explaining why he had to cancel the concert on Instagram/
He delighted fans by belting out the ballad as a surprise opener on his first ever solo arena show at the Palacio De Los Deportes in Mexico City. As he tours, the star, who shares a four-year-old named Khai with his ex Gigi Hadid, has been paying tribute to his late friend at the end of his set during his song Stardust. The star employed seven women to accompany him on tour: guitarist Molly Miller, the drummer who goes by Baby Bulldog, singers Lisa Ramey, Tahira Clayton and Rebecca Haviland, keyboard player Tina Hizon and bassist Ryan Madora.
