Zayn Bids Adieu to the Past in New Single ‘Alienated’

A little over a month from releasing his fourth studio album, Room Under the Stairs, Zayn released introspective new single "Alienated."

Backed by a simple beat, Zayn declares in the chorus: “I’ve been feeling alienated on my spaceship alone/Say goodbye to the past/Leave it all with a laugh.” The upcoming 15-track album, out May 17 via Mercury Records, will feature lead single “ What I Am, ” along with “Alienated,” “My Woman,” “Something in the Water,” “Fuchsia Sea,” and more. “This is my favorite album that I’ve made to date, mainly because it comes from a place of sheer honesty and vulnerability,” Zayn said in a previous statement.
