Police were able to recover the watch in this instance but, with people travelling to the island and flaunting their wealth, Zara described Ibiza as 'a playground for organised crime'. Firms charge £100,000 to throw a private party at a lavish villa, supplying exquisite food, the finest champagne, DJs and even trapeze artists. It is claimed VIP clubbers rub shoulders with higher-ranking members of the crime gangs, who are at the venues to spot potential targets.
