Zac Efron to play 'world-class loser' and Hollywood actor in new comedy Famous as he takes on TWO roles
Zac Efron is taking on another challenge in his next role. He will play not just one, but two different characters. Deadline announced his casting in the black comedy Famous.
The film will be directed by The Righteous Gemstones director Jody Hill and produced by Emmy Rossum's husband Sam Esmail. Efron is coming off the success of the wrestling family tragedy The Iron Claw in which he played real life wrestler Kevin Von Erich. 'One of the jarring moments that I wasn't expecting was when the wrestling stops, or there's a cut, or in between setups or takes – you've just got to stand there with a whole crowd around, in your underwear.
