Adult Swim Yule Log was created by writer/director Casper Kelly, the man behind viral horror short TooMany Cooks, and aired in 2022. The sequel sees Laing returns as Zoe tries to escape the horrors of the first film by fleeing to a new country, but the murder log has travel plans of its own. “I am thrilled to bring this second genre-defying installment in the Adult Swim Cinematic Yuliverse to fans,” added Kelly.
