Hot, fresh and full of flavour - this is a wonderful 'fakeaway' without any of the nasty additives (Image: Mike English) 350g lean beef strips suitable for stir-frying e.g. rump steak, cut into thin strips or beef stir-fry strips ½ tsp Chinese 5-spice Low-calorie cooking spray ½ red pepper, deseeded and sliced ½ green pepper, deseeded and sliced 1 red chilli, deseeded and finely sliced 3 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed 2 tbsp dark soy sauce 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1 tsp white granulated sweetener ½ tsp ground ginger ½ tsp chilli powder 2 spring onions, trimmed and thinly sliced Combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, sweetener, ginger and chilli powder in a bowl, then add to the pan and stir for 1 minute to coat the vegetables.
