You’ll Never Guess What ESPN Is Calling Its New Streaming App
ESPN+ minus a plus equals a lot more sports to watch.
After the swift rise and death of Disney, Fox, and Warner Bros. Discovery’s planned joint sports streamer, Venu, Disney pivoted to releasing an improved counterpart to its current streamer ESPN+. An exact launch date hasn’t been announced, but we know it’ll come in August. ESPN chairman Jimmy Pitaro said that execs decided on the new-old name because it was “straightforward.” Just don’t think too hard about that other plus.
