The Kansas City Chiefs do not have a Wild Card playoff game on Saturday, January 11, or Sunday, January 12

Grant Halverson/Getty ImagesThe first round of the NFL postseason kicks off this weekend with Wild Card Playoffs in both the AFC and the NFC conferences — but the reigning Super Bowl champs will not be playing a game. During the last regular season game and head of the divisional round, Reid made the decision to sit out a number of top starters including Patrick, 29, Travis Kelce, Chris Jones and more. Backup quarterback Carson Wentz started the January 5 away game against the Denver Broncos that ultimately ended in a 38-0 Chiefs’ loss, eliminating the Cincinnati Bengals and the Miami Dolphins from the playoffs.
