K-pop and BLACKPINK label YG Entertainment named Yang Min-seok sole CEO. The company also represents artists including BABYMONSTER.
Yang Min-seok takes the helm of a storied Korean music company with surging revenue and a bonafide superstar act in BLACKPINK. The group’s 66-date Born Pink World Tour reached across North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania before culminating with two shows at the 35,000-capacity Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, South Korea in September. Lee is an advisor to H-Re Co. and former head of the investment strategy office at Netmarble, the country’s largest mobile gaming company.
