Yes Studios, Paramount’s Ananey Team on ‘The Lost City: 101 Days in Captivity,’ Docuseries About 2003 Kidnapping of Israelis in South America (EXCLUSIVE)

Yes Studios and Paramount’s Ananey Studios are teaming up for 'The Lost City: 101 Days in Captivity,' about Israelis kidnapped in South America.

The series, which will premiere on Yes Docu on Sept. 19, was created by the award-winning documentarian Ofir Trainin (“Wandering Eyes,” “Family in Trans”) and Omri Kronland, Ananey Studios’ documentary and non-scripted content editor-manager. “This compelling and chilling documentary series provides a fascinating insight into what it is like to be kidnapped, along with the long-term physical and psychological impacts of the former hostages’ survival journey,” said Sharon Levi, Yes Studios’ managing director. “At a time when the plight of hostages, from how their kidnappers treat them to the long-lasting effects of such a violent disruption to their lives, remains a very topical subject, not just in Israel, but also in other areas of the world where there is conflict, we believe this new documentary will resonate with many international buyers,” Levi continued.
